A purported gang member is facing charges after he allegedly let a 4-year-old child hold a gun at a location on Trove Drive on February 11.
According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:
The child had his finger on the trigger of the firearm.
17-year old Adam Taylor Hernandez Jr., who is associated with the Kutthroat gang, took a picture of the child with a cigarette in the child’s mouth.
During the execution of a search warrant, a 9mm pistol that had been reported as lost was recovered.
Hernandez is charged with participation in criminal street gang activity, 1st-degree cruelty to children, and theft of lost or mislaid property.
