Additional information has been released concerning a deadly shooting in the parking lot of a convenience store in Cartersville Friday evening.

25-year old Alleya Noel Henry of Emerson is charged with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime in the shooting death of 65-year-old Jimmy Lee Morgan of Cartersville

According to a Cartersville Police Department report:

911 had received a call from a man stating that Morgan has been making threatening statements and gestures toward him.

About 18 seconds later, Henry called 911 to say she had shot someone.

Morgan was already dead when police arrived on the scene.

Henry was charged after being interviewed by investigators.
