A pregnant woman was among those involved in a two-vehicle crash near Adairsville on Sunday.

The wreck occurred on Highway 41 near Griffin Road.

According to the Georgia State Patrol:

The driver of a Honda van was distracted, failed to yield, and turned left in front of a Chevy Traverse. 

The impact caused serious injuries to both the driver and the front passenger of the Chevrolet SUV, as well as injuries to two passengers of the Honda van.

The female passenger of the Chevrolet was 30 weeks pregnant and was airlifted to Kennestone Hospital.

The other injured parties were transported to Floyd Medical Center and Cartersville Medical Center by EMS.

Charges are pending.
