Woman accused of damaging vehicle
An Adairsville woman was booked into the Floyd County Jail Monday on a felony warrant charging her with 2nd-degree criminal damage to property.
According to the warrant:
18-year old Abbigail Raini White damaged a man’s vehicle on Eastland Court in Rome on March 15.
The damage was listed at over $1,000.
White is also charged with battery in connection with an incident that same day on Cartersville Highway.
Report: Two people caught having sex in parking lot
Two Rome residents are facing public indecency charges after they were reportedly caught having sex in a public place.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
23-year-old Jessica Soraida Ramirez-Mendez and 47-year-old Edgar Vicente-Vicente were caught in the act by police in a parking lot at 17 Burnett Ferry Road.
Ramirez-Mendez is facing an additional count of misdemeanor obstruction of law enforcement.
Man charged with aggravated stalking
A 62-year-old Rome man has been arrested on a felony warrant charging him with aggravated stalking.
According to the warrant:
Scott Christopher Childs was ordered to have no direct or indirect contact with a woman as part of his probation.
Childs was yelling obscenities at the woman’s son, who was being detained and later arrested in front of a home on Trove Drive on March 3.
The incident was witnessed by a police officer.
