RFMTF seizes two kilos of meth from West Rome home

-News Release-

On Friday, the Rome/Floyd Metro Task Force executed a search warrant at 101-A Paris Drive as a result of a drug investigation.

Approximately 2.13 kilograms of methamphetamine and $17,064.00 were recovered during the operation.

The approximate street value of the methamphetamine totaled $106,500.

41-year-old Quavarez Marquel Cunningham was taken into custody and transported to the Floyd County Jail where he is being held without bond.

He is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.

Mescha Latonya Sullivan was taken into custody and charged with conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act.

This operation was made possible by the collaboration of the Rome/Floyd Metro Task Force, the Rome Police Department K9 and Patrol Division, the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Division, and the GBI West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office.
