Woman accused of starving dog to death

A Cave Spring woman has been arrested on two felony counts of aggravated cruelty to animals.

According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:

39-year-old Michelle Lynn Causey failed to provide adequate food and water for two dogs.

One of the dogs died and a necropsy revealed it had died from starvation.

The other dog was alive but found to be severely emaciated at Causey’s Buttermilk Road home.

Man accused of stealing leaf blower

An Armuchee man arrested for a probation violation late last week has now been charged with the theft of a leaf blower in December.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

26-year-old Jesse Shane Brock took the leaf blower, valued at more than $500, from the victim’s pickup truck.

Brock is charged with felony counts of entering an automobile and theft by taking.

Warrant: Sex offender failed to notify sheriff’s office of move

A Lindale man has been arrested on a felony warrant charging him with violating Georgia’s Sex Offender Registry law.

According to the warrant:

48-year-old Michael Dwayne Ingram failed to notify the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office of his move from 215 Avenue D in Lindale within 72 hours as required by law.
