-Cartersville Police Department News Release-

On Monday, February 17, 2025, officers with the Cartersville Police Department responded to a report of a 14-year-old male juvenile victim who had been shot.

The victim was transported to Cartersville Piedmont Hospital for treatment, and life-flighted to Scottish Rite for further treatment. The victim was later pronounced deceased.

The investigation is still ongoing. Out of respect for the family, and the nature of the incident, we will not be releasing any further details, and no interviews will be granted.
