‘Most Wanted’ suspect in custody

A Kingston man was jailed late last week on felony warrants charging him with aggravated battery and exploitation or intimidation of an elder person.

According to the warrants:

40-year old Nicholas Augustus King struck a 65-year-old man on top of the head with an unknown object causing a three-inch deep laceration that required stitches. 

The incident occurred back on November 18 at King’s Dublin Circle residence.

King, who was just recently added to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office’s  Top 10 Most Wanted, is also being held for a probation violation.

Man facing charges in two separate incidents

A West Rome man has been arrested in connection with a couple of incidents.

According to arrest warrants and Floyd County Jail records:

34-year-old Jammarrica Lavoris Keith threatened to kill a man by burning down his house.

Keith also damaged the windshield of the victim’s truck.

He is charged with terroristic threats and acts, and 2nd-degree criminal damage to property.

Keith is also accused of biting a woman back on September 23, causing a mark and swelling to the victim’s right cheek.

He also damaged the victim’s vehicle by ripping off the wires connected to the battery and the hose connected to the heater.

Keith is charged with battery, criminal damage to property, and misdemeanor obstruction of officers in connection with that incident.

Man charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, multiple other violations

A Villa Rica man is accused of fleeing from Floyd County Police in the area of Highway 27 South and Vanns Valley Road late last week.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

A vehicle driven by 43-year-old Brandon Joseph Reynolds was clocked going 72 miles per hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone.

During an attempted traffic stop, Reynolds fled, reaching speeds of over 100 miles per hour, running four stop signs and a red light.

Reynolds swerved into the other lane and passed in a no-passing zone while throwing several items out of his window.

Once stopped, Reynolds resisted five officers by pulling away as he was being placed into handcuffs. 

Several fragments of suspected methamphetamine and an open container of alcohol were located in the vehicle.

Reynolds is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, possession of meth, obstruction of officers, littering, speeding, reckless driving, open container, driving with a suspended or revoked license, failure to maintain a lane, passing in a no-passing zone, failure to obey a traffic control device, and a stop sign violation. 

Teen facing multiple charges

A West Rome teen has been charged with the theft of two firearms from a location on Johns Drive back on December 16.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

17-year-old Keano Sanjay Nestor took the guns from the victim’s vehicle and was in possession of the weapons when he committed other thefts.

Nestor is charged with three counts of entering an auto, three counts of theft by taking, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and one count of theft by taking a motor vehicle.
