A Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $10,000 was sold in Cave Spring last week.

The ticket purchased at the Chevron at 2382 Gadsden Road matched four of the five winning numbers and the Mega Ball.

The winning numbers for the Dec. 24 drawing were 11-14-38-45-46, with the Mega Ball 03 and the Megaplier 3X.

That was not the only big win locally in the past week.

A player matched all five numbers in the Georgia 5 drawing on Dec. 23 to win the $10,000 top prize. 

That winning ticket was purchased at Circle K at 1881 Calhoun Road in Rome.
