The Rome City Commission will consider an easement agreement with General Electric when they meet tonight.

Under the agreement, the city would grant GE an easement for a northern access driveway to Redmond Circle as well as utility and drainage easements.

GE, who donated more than 121 acres of the West Rome site to the city in 2015, still owns the industrial plant site on the property.

Agenda also includes three first readings for rezoning requests on Rogers Road, Stonewall Street, and Redmond Road.

There will also be proclamations read for Geocaching Week and Constitution Week.

The meeting begins at 6:30 pm at Rome City Hall. The caucus starts at 5.
